Medical Illustration Techniques: 2D Illustration from 3D Models in ZBrush
Intermediate Level Course
In July of 2018, I co-presented a workshop in ZBrush at the AMI Meeting in Austin, TX. This intermediate level workshop was designed to show how ZBrush can be used with data acquired via 3D scanning, photogrammetry, or medical imaging to create and render didactic models. My videos from this course are now available to you!
The modules presented here will show you how some of the new features in ZBrush2018 can be used to update existing workflows, and how ZBrush can be used as a stand-alone 3D-to-2D rendering solution using BPR (Basic Preview Rendering) and some basic material and render property modifications including: wax preview, environment, shadows, and toon rendering.
This course assumes basic familiarity with modeling in zbrush.
